What is air jordan 2?

Air Jordan 2 is a basketball shoe designed and produced by Nike under the Jordan brand. It was first released in 1986 and was the second model in the Air Jordan line. The shoe was designed by Bruce Kilgore, the same designer of the iconic Nike Air Force 1.

The Air Jordan 2 featured a distinctive design that was sleeker and more refined than its predecessor. It also introduced new technology such as a full-length Air-Sole unit in the midsole for optimal cushioning and support.

The shoe was initially released in multiple colorways, including a white, black, and red iteration famously known as the "Chicago" colorway. Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 2 during his 1987 Slam Dunk Contest victory.

The Air Jordan 2 was re-released in various colorways in 1995, 2004, 2010, and 2014. Its popularity has continued to endure, and it is now considered a classic in the sneaker community.
